Blown away.

Totally blown away by this set.
Runs beautifully straight out of the box.
I've had Atlas HO scale locos that took weeks to run this well.
Detail is impressive at this scale, lights are very good.

Awsome

This was my first train and its amazing, the detail level its impressive for such a small scale and its very precise in terms of speed controll.

Amazing detail!

This is what started my t gauge adventure... and what stopped oo for me. I was hooked- outstanding detail and quality makes it an essential part of my three exhibition layouts!

Great little train

I have had this little train for a couple of weeks now and would recommend it to anyone starting out in this scale,it runs smoothly, and can be run at scale speeds including very near scale walking pace.
I have or do model in every scale from O to Z and this little train has been a pleasant surprise from the moment I opened the box, manufacturers in other scales and gauges need to look closely at this train and raise their game in regards to detail, quality and most importantly value for money.

Awesome

Great product. I prefer the British prototype over the Japanese prototype. Great service and fast shipping.

BR Intercity 125

A fantastic model that after being on order for over a year was well worth the wait. Excellent printing on the rolling stock and virtually no light bleed from the directional lighting.

A well packaged set that comes neatly presented.

10/10 and fully recommended!

Great looking model

I bought this back in 2011 and took delivery of it 16 months later, but that time has clearly been well spent, for the size it is an amazing model it crawls and runs superbly for hours on end with no issues or noise at about 60% speed. You can clearly read HST and the numbers where printed but they are definitely not oversize. Very pleased with my performance and fully recommend this to anyone who wants to model BR blue era

With all the waiting over now it was a joy to open the box and see just how special this HST 125 really was. It runs perfectly, and with the new PWM controller, will crawl along too quite happily. Now I have no excuses, the layout must be built, the boss has told me, grab yours while you can.

A miniature masterpiece

I've waited a long time to get my hands on this HST, but it's definitely worth the wait! The detailing is amazing and looks far better in real life than in the photos. The model also handles really well at all speeds, even with me using just the standard controller.

Worth the wait — I guess!

It's been 18 months since I pre-ordered a 125 set. That's a long wait by any standard. It's pretty obvious tgauge.uk has had a major run around from its suppliers for this set, but I'm delighted with the product now it's here. The detail is amazing for such a tiny gauge, and the train's extra magnetic wheels mean it runs without derailment even on the narrowest curved track. The fore and aft lights ignite brightly at lower drive voltages than the Japanese rolling stock.
So at last I can build a layout with British scenery and landscapes: the Inter-city 125 rolling stock proves that tGauge really can progress to UK trains.
Next stop: steam locos!
