The 165 series was an express electric multiple unit (EMU) train type introduced in 1963 by Japanese National Railways (JNR).

The 165 Series was designed to withstand the colder climates, heavy snow and steeper inclines of the newly electrified Chuo Main Line and Shin'Etsu Lines in Japan from 1963 - 2003

Astonishing Detail

This model has amazing detail, especially compared to some of the older t gauge models. It runs smoothly and the paint work and molding detail is just incredible for the size. Awesome model train pack, I reccomend.
